Sacred Heart Machinators compete in the annual BEST Robotics Compition at the NT BEST Hub. This year Gunter High school hosted the event. The Machinators had a great day! They ended up in 1st place in the seeding matches, 1st place in the semi-finals, and 2nd place in the final round of compeition. This would not have been enough to advance to Texas BEST but the Machinators did well enough in the BEST Award which encompases fundraising, public relations, spirit, team play, engineering notebook, among other aspects. They brought home a second place finish out of 16 teams to advance to play at Texas BEST which will be located at Texas Tech this year.
